Next Steps & Advice
- Advise tenant that we will draft letter of claim and send it to the tenant’s Landlord in a few days.
- We will also send them a copy of the same along with our initial paperwork which will have all our contact details.
- The Landlord will have 20 working days to provide disclosure and respond to our letter of claim.
- Advise them to not allow their landlord to repair the disrepairs listed above or arrange an inspection without consulting us first.
- The tenant should advise the Landlord that they have solicitors instructed in the matter and they need to call the solicitors to arrange inspection and/or repairs.
- Above advice is only for disrepairs that we are instructed for and not any other disrepair.
- If their landlord calls them about something else, then they need to co-operate with the Landlord as we are not instructed for any other disrepairs.
- Ask them to provide evidence for specials as soon as possible and send to info@aminhaque.co.uk (if specials are claimed)
